Support
Email support@roundxer.com. Tell us your device, the RoundXer version (Settings → About) and what happened.
Never send patient details — no names, MRNs or screenshots of real patients. Describe the problem with made-up data.
Installing and updating
- Downloads for Android, Windows and Mac are on the home page. iPhone is coming soon through TestFlight.
- To update, install the new version over the old one: your patients, settings and PIN stay. Back up first anyway.
- On a computer: Settings → About → Check for updates → Install update.
- Windows says "Windows protected your PC": choose More info → Run anyway (the installer is not yet code-signed).
Backups and moving to a new phone
- Areas → Back up makes an encrypted .roundxer file. Keep it on your computer or another device of your own.
- On the new device, open the file with RoundXer → Import → enter your passphrase or recovery key → Merge. Merge never deletes what is already there.
- Back up regularly: if a phone is lost, your latest backup is all there is.
Forgot your passphrase, PIN or recovery key
- Passphrase forgotten: your recovery key opens your data and backups.
- PIN forgotten: use your passphrase or recovery key. Without a passphrase, a phone lets you reset the PIN with the phone's own screen lock; a computer can only start fresh and restore a backup.
- Passphrase and recovery key both lost: nobody — including us — can open the backups. RoundXer has no server and keeps no copy of your keys.
Your data and your hospital
RoundXer keeps everything on your device, encrypted. Follow your hospital's rules on patient information on personal devices; the security summary is written for IT and data-protection teams. If a device is lost, tell your hospital's information-governance contact according to local policy.
